How do I get in?

Each potential resident must complete a phone interview; after approval of this first phase, they must complete the In-Person interview process.

What is campus life like?

Our typical day begins at 6 am, followed by a workday, then evening bible studies.  Our work areas offer an extensive variety from carpentry to auto mechanic/bodywork to off-camp service at various locations.  All meals and necessities are provided at no cost to any resident.

Can I use tobacco in the program?

Yes, you can smoke cigarettes, dip, and use nicotine pouches but vapes are NOT allowed.

Do you work with out-of-state transition houses?

Although each transition house is its own entity, we do have relationships with numerous transition houses, both in Arkansas as well as out of state.

Do you have a blackout period?

Yes, the program has a one-month blackout period where the resident will have no correspondence with friends or family at all. No letters, phone calls, or visits.

How long can I stay?

John 3:16 Ministries is designed to offer a 6-12 month residency; some residents believe called by God to remain longer.

How much does it cost?

Our ministry is 100% free to any accepted resident.

When can I see my family and friends?

Visits by approved persons are permitted after the initial blackout period on Sundays only.  The standard period is 28 days; some blackout periods are longer depending on the best interests of the resident.

Do you take people from other states?

Yes, we take people from all over the US. To date, we have accepted Men from Alabama, Arkansas, California, New York, Missouri, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, and California.

Do you work with the court systems?

Yes, we work with local court offices, alerting them of the resident’s acceptance, progress, and completion of the program.

What if I am not sure about my belief in God?

John 3:16 Ministries is a Christ-centered evangelistic ministry.  This means that we are here to share the gospel of Jesus Christ; regardless of any individual’s current belief.
