Variety Night is November 15, 2025!
We are super excited to announce that Variety Night – Charlotte’s got Talent will be held on November 15th! We get to showcase some of the talent our residents have during the show. Regular tables are $500, and corporate tables are $1,000. We will also be serving dinner and will host an auction at the event. Call 870 799-2525 to reserve your table today! What's Happening at John 3:16 Ministries?
Dear Friends,
We have been staying busy here at John 3:16 Ministries! First and foremost we are excited to announce that 19 men and 6 women have dedicated their lives to Christ at our most recent baptism on October 12th. It truly is miraculous what the Lord is doing in these men and womens’ lives. Residents come in broken, defeated, and afflicted with addiction, and we get a front-row seat to see the healing and restoration that takes place in their lives. We are also excited to say that our
holiday meats are currently cooking and we are now accepting orders! Make this Thanksgiving and Christmas season super easy by purchasing one of our hams, turkeys, or pork butts! Don’t forget about dessert! The Women’s Ministry has been working hard to provide you with delicious pies as well. Flavors include pecan, apple, and pumpkin. Place your order today! Testimony
Robert Jordon has struggled with drugs and alcohol addiction for the majority of his life. After his most recent relapse, “Jordon” cried out to God for help, and the Lord led him to a bus stop in Atlanta, GA. He knew this is where God wanted him at that specific moment, and he felt a peace come over him that he had never felt before. Little did he know, his prayer was about to be answered. While he was at the bus stop, he asked someone if they could help him out with some food for breakfast, and it just so happened that the gentleman he asked for help from was wearing a blue John 3:16 ministries shirt. The gentleman reached out and shook Jordons hand, and offered to pray with him. Jordon felt a sense of relief come over him as if God himself was speaking through the man. The kind stranger told Jordon about John 3:16 ministries, and Jordon made his way to AR. Since being at the ministry, Jordon has been a tremendous blessing. He now gets to use his military and culinary skills for Christ, and others. Jordon serves in the kitchen and is such a blessing to the ministry and the residents here. It’s amazing to see the transformation that has taken place in him.
Women's Family Day!
We would like to thank all the families who came to spend the day with us for our Women’s Family Day! The event was a huge success where everybody was able to fellowship and families got to see the change Jesus is making in their loved ones’ lives. We started the day off with a fishing tournament where 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes were awarded for the most fish caught in an hour. Then we moved on to the cornhole competition. We grilled out hamburgers and hotdogs and after that we had praise and worship. During praise and worship some of the residents and their families gave praise reports about the difference they get to see in their loved ones and how Jesus is changing the relationship between them. It was a truly blessed day shared by all and the name of Jesus was lifted up!
Testimony
My name is Brooke Young. I am 27 year’s old and I am from Arkansas county. I have been at the Ministry for 6 months now. Before coming to John 3:16 I was lost, broken, and with no hope for my future. Since coming to the Ministry I have gained a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He has given me restoration in my family as well as love and peace in my heart. I now have a completely new outlook on my life. I feel truly blessed to have found Jesus at John 3:16 because I not only have hope for my future but also for my children’s future. Now I can take what I have learned here and teach my children about Jesus and how he saved my life!
Monday Night Class
Every Monday night at 6pm The John 3:16 Women’s Ministry has a guest speaker come out to share their testimony and to teach a Bible study. The speaker shares a message about how Jesus has helped them in their life struggles. The class is open to the public. So, if you are a woman who is looking to get more involved with the Women’s Ministry, we would love to see you at one of our Monday night classes!
New Instructor Highlight
My Name is Sarah Lynn I am 39 years old from Mountain Home, AR. I am one of the newest instructors at John 3:16 Women’s Ministry. I was a resident for 7 months before graduating and becoming an instructor. Before coming to the ministry I was lost, a prisoner in my own mind and of my own bad decisions. I felt empty, alone, and had no purpose in life and had nobody to blame but myself. After coming to the ministry I was taught about Jesus and that he loved me so much that he died for me, even when I was the worst of the worst. I started to surrender my old behaviors, my toxic thinking, and my old identity. The Lord gave me a new identity. Jesus says that I m loved, he has called me by name, and he has given me a purpose. Being a instructor at the Women’s Ministry allows me to show the women who come in broken and lost that there is hope, they are not what the world says they are and if they just surrender it all to the Lord, he will give them a new life in him.
