I grew up in a great home with loving, Christian parents. About the age of 17, I started drinking, parting and running wild. After losing my wife and kids, I realized I had a problem. My problem wasn’t drugs and alcohol, it was a sin problem. Twenty years worth of guilt and shame caused me to just give up and on July 3, 2010, I shot myself. I lost an eye, teeth and almost my life. I finally decided to try something different and on December 15, 2016, I came to John 3:16. I thought I was coming to get rid of an addiction and got more than I could ever imagine. Since being at the ministry, I’ve found life, joy, happiness and most importantly my Lord and Savior Jesus. It has been the best months of my life. I’ve also found Gods plan for me when I got blessed with the opportunity to stay as an instructor. My Jesus has given me life and I pray everyday that I can help lead other men to the Lord. I pray also to do everything God has planned for me and serve him the rest of my life.
