I came to the ministry on November 13, 2005, when I was completely broken, lost, hurting and didn’t have a thread of hope. In October, my mother had handed me a John 3:16 pamphlet begging me to get help. I was out of money, patience, love, pills and booze, so I threw in the towel, and said, “I am done.” I was tired and didn’t want to run anymore. As long as I could remember, my addiction turned me into a complete loser. I had lost every job that I ever had, been involved in countless wrecks, served many nights in jail, fights, experienced the loss of friends, cars, houses, wives, etc. On November 13, 2005, I was accepted at John 3:16 Ministries and my life has never been the same. Four days later I was saved. Three months after that, I was baptized by my grandfather. However, I haven’t been perfect. About a year after I graduated, I fell to my own desires and lust. Believe me, it was horrible. It was 7 times worse, just as Jesus said it would be. After going in and out of several other ministries, I continued in my addiction until February 2008. That’s when the Lord took me and told me, “I still have plans for you to prosper, to hope and to have a future.” I moved back to the ministry, rededicated my life to Christ and haven’t looked back since. I have been blessed by God to have been called to the ministry to live, teach, instruct and learn. I would like to thank Jesus Christ and John 3:16 Ministries for showing me love and how to have my joy made complete. My wonderful family is closer than ever, life is great, and I can be a loving uncle to my young nephew.
